Shouldn’t they box say something is not include if it isn’t in there?

I just purchased a lexmark 2500 series all in one printer…I get home open the box and there’s no USB cable in the box…so I look all over the box and it doesn't state anything about it not being included until I read the instuctions…I feel like I was suckered into buying this printer now I gotta go purchase more stuff…Thats not right

Answer:
From a certain point on, printers have NOT come with USB cables. They have almost always needed to be bought separately. Sorry, that's the way it goes. It seems silly that an expensive printer can't include a tiny USB cord, but they don't usually. Each now and again I find one in the box, but they end up being really short and not useful.

Answer:
The box states what’s included and salesman and stores usually recommend a cable. Printer companies are not in the cable business. They probably did not give you paper either.

Think of it like a vehicle. They don't tell you you need to purchase gas. But you do figure it out pretty quick.

Answer:
boxes usually don't state what they don't have. only the nice guys (like my HP!) most only tell you what IS included in the box, but not necesserily everything you need. gotta read the find print dude!

O_o cheEto

Answer:
Yeah most printers are like this. Very stupid if you ask me, the old ones all came with Serial cords.
