Answer:
Since you think it might be a virus, and that occurred to me too, follow this link for a really good guide to cleaning a computer:

When you're done with that, if the problem persists, you could look at the stickies about specific viruses or post for more help in the Malware forum (they're really good there) but read the HJT and Bump stickies first:

Or if you think the problem might be something else, look for the right forum here:

You’ve to sign up to post but there are no catches and it's a very reputable site.
The other possibility that occurs to me is that you’ve a laptop and are accidentally activating links on the page by applying pressure in a particular area off the mousepad or lightly touching the mousepad without realising it. It took me a while to realise that's what I was doing with mine when I first got it and I knew it couldn't be viruses because the computer wasn't connected to the web when I first got it and the skipping was between things I had open. But if the pages you’re skipping to don't have links on the pages you go there from, that would be a clear sign that viruses should be your first suspicion.

yea mine does that too. if you have a labtop, the mouse does that. its prob. because you’ve the arrow thing on a special area and thats why it does that. its sooo annoying!! so try to keep it on the page hope that helps!
