Answer:
Have you tried turning the printer off then on again. Sometimes restarting the printer solves the problem. If this dosen't work then you will have to uninstall and reinstall the printer.

This sounds like a connection or driver problem to me. But first of all try to delet all items in the queue - if that doesn't work print a test page from your printer - this is by pressing a combination of buttons (it tells you in your manual) not by doing a test page from your computer - we know that won't work. If the test page at the printer works you know it is connection driver problem - see below. If it doesn't work then time to call customer support if in warranty or bin the printer if out.

If test page printed fine check your connection, cable, infra red, etc. If everything there checks out OK (and I suspect it won't) then go to the HP web site and download the latest driver for your printer and install it as the driver could simply have got corrupted

Hello,

(ANS) No! this is a common problem and the solution is too, No.1 Un-install the printer & its software drivers that came with it.

No.2 Reboot the computer after you have removed ALL printers from your system.

No.3 Once you have restarted the machine, next re-install the HP Printer using the CD disk with the software drivers. **You could also check with HP's website that you do have the latest revision (version) of the printer drivers.

**Re-installing the printer drivers should easily fix this problem for you.

hp printers are not built to last, if the warranty has expired you will have to purchase a new one becuase it will be cheaper than repairing it, if the warranty has not expired you can send it baack to hp and they’ll replace the printer or the faulty parts in the printer.
