MacBook starts up with a black screen, creepy messages keep coming up!?

My MacBook has been messing up a lot lately so I tried a whole lot of different things to get it to work… now when I turn it on this black screen comes up and things like 'localhost: i have no name!' come up. It's starting to creep me out.
What is wrong with it!?

Paranoid much? It wasn't hacked.
If you tried “a whole lot of different things” you probably messed something up at a basic level and that's why it's booting in Single User mode. That's the unix part you normally don't see.
Here's some commands you could use to further hose your machine

Or you could just back up all your data, completely wipe it, and restore your computer back to fresh. That's your ideal bet.

it probably got hacked or something. you will probably have to refresh it to the factory settings.. sorry
