I'm trying to go from my Gamecube's video and audio outputs to my monitor in the cheapest way possible.
If this doesn't work what else could I get for a decent price?

no .. this is not what you want ..
This will grant your computer to connect to your Television .. not the other way around.
You need something that converts from RCA TO VGA.
