Sims 2 for MacBook 2.2 GHz?

Okay, so I've always enjoyed playing the Sims on my PC. A few months ago I switched to using a Mac. Obviously, I’ll be buying the MACDVD version of the game to install on my mac.
However, my question is will it work on the MacBook and have any of you successfully played it on one?

Yes this game works perfect on the macbook. Very fun game too.
