My sound on my computer isn’t working.?

The sound on my personal isn't working. I checked my device manager but it says that the audio device is working. My sound device is Realtek. Any suggestions?

I've had issuse with realtek drivers in the past, but it was on my hp tower…. anyways do what was posted above to make sure your outbound dieves are using the correct defualts.
If none of that makes a difference you may need to reinstall the drive go to your personal companies website, find your pcs model and download the sound drivers.
Try reinstalling them. That should fix it.

you might have tell the computer what it has to use
go to
control panel
click on sound
you will find three tabs
playback recording & sound
check what the personal is using Realtek but some thing else then set it to the right one

double click on the volume icon in the system tray and check if it was muted. if that did not help try to update the sound driver.

off the computer then on it again . check if it put on loud if not youll have to take it back. ive gor realtek and nothing wrong with mine. anyway hop it helps:) 10 points plz
