How to unistall vista and install winxp?

i have the hp530 1.60 Ghz notebook i purchased with vista and i try to install winxp sp2 but when read my cd say cant find any hard disk on my personal.

Problem is due to Windows XP not being able to detect the SATA Hard disk. This is because it doesn't have the proper drivers. Download the SATA drivers from HP site, then slipstream them in to the XP installation disk.

Plz donot install winxp,cause it will require u to install drivers for it. Ur laptop has win vista, so u will b provided all the drivers for vista. but there r no drivers for xp, even on the site of hp. i had faced same problems , so suggesting u this. rest is ur wish.

Download gParted (http://gparted.sourceforge.net) and remove all partitions. Create a new partition using the NTFS file system & then try to boot from the XP CD.
