Can having a laptop on your lap make you infertile?

My mum says it does. I don't know, because no one's ever said anything to make me believe them, like no theory to back it up.
It sounds like crap, but then… i really don't want to become infertile. So… is it true? And how to avoid becoming infertile and still use a laptop if it does? Is it only if you’ve it on your lap?

depending on hot your laptop gets, there is a VERY VERY small possibility. There are two possibilities of this: 1. the radiation from the laptop and 2. the heat from the laptop. usually both factors are so small that it is impossible to cause any serious problems. But if you are worried, you can check out this thing called a HeatShift Pad. It is a laptop cooler that protects you from the heat from the laptop. I think their website is http://www.thermapak.com.
