Whem hookong up the power and drive alert LEDs how fo I tell which is the and - wire?

The LEDs are on tiny blocks with just green or red, and white wires. (the green and red match the led colour)
Is the white and the other colour -?
Or the other way around?

the conectors should have a and - on them .
look at the mother board you’ll also see and - on the board
