Firewire too, what goes in there? And what do I plug my S-Video Cable from my video card into?
Answer:
For the SATA Port you could plug in a external SATA Hard Drive for extra storage. Also my external hard drive can be hooked up by either USB or Firewire.
Also i believe you can hook up some Digital Video Cameras via firewire for editing and uploading purposes.
As for the S-video cable you would plug a s-video cable from your graphics card to your tv. So you can watch movies on your tv from your pc.
i.e. Netflix watch now.
Answer:
Firewire & SATA all plug into an external device. Both are connections that have faster speed wires. Most people probably will never buy something that’ll get used with these ports. If you want to know exactly what devices can be used just search up on them. SATA external devices.
S-Video can be plugged into most Tv's. This will only show video from laptop or desktop. NO audio.
Answer:
An external hard drive or docking station are 2 examples. Fireware the same thing plus some cams phones etc. S-Video cable sends the video signal from your computer to your Television. If only sends the video-you have to send the audio separately from the sound card.
