when xp is outta date, should i just get vista on my computer, or should i just buy a brandnew one?
if i should keep it, what should i upgrade
2-3gb ram?
whats a good graphics card that i can get that will work with this computer
And a few other recommendations…
Answer:
It doesn't sound like you need a new personal. Computers aren't becoming obsolte as fast as they used to. Where before it was common to replace them after 3 years, 5 years is more common.
The time to replace them is if a major component of the current personal breaks (hard drive, monitor, motherboard), or the personal becomes too slow for newer software you might use.
Do NOT update your current personal to Vista. It will probably be way too slow, and you will have problems getting all the devices working.
Answer:
XP won't be outta date for a while and what you do on your computor, you should be fine for quite a while. But if you want Vista just upgrade a new one is too much. As for ram if you get into doing a lot on your Computor then upgrade your Ram, but if you continue what your doing now, then don't bother. If you want updates you can get quite a few such as flash on the internet, hope I helped!

I say you upgrade to windows vista ultimate, i don't think you should waste money in a new personal.. if you do upgrade go to best purchase and get some computer graphics like nvidia geforce.. that's what I'm getting
My computer use to be Media Center, i just upgraded to Vista Ultimate, now all i need is computer graphics, nvidia geforce
