PLEASE HELP!!!!???My FILES where are they!!!! I took picture with a web?

cam, couple months ago, my computer caught a virus, man took the tower and got rid of the virus, but I am having a hard time retrieving my pictures off my computers, is there anyone that can help me? as oppose to where to look.

howd he take the virus off? did they do a reformat? (deletes all) or did they manually take it out (the fun way)..
search for a file like *.jpg or whatever.

Maybe the man who took your pc to get rid of the viruses, also took the pics off and have them in his collection……..just kidding! It might have been deleted when the guy got rid of the viruses. What you should have done was to take off your important files off the pc before giving it to him. He probably reformatted your drive, and when you do that everything starts over from the first time you got your new pc. If you want to you can ask the guy if he had reformatted your pc to get rid of the virus. If he states yes, then your pics are gone for good.

They would be stored in your My Documents> My Pictures or under some storage file used by the application that granted you to take the pictures. For example, if you know what software you may have used, look under program files for that particular program and see if there is a folder for storing images.
You could also do a search of your entire drive for all images (bmp, jpeg etc).
