Answer:
Not really. For the price it's nice, but in the grand scheme of things, not really. It has a single core CPU, which is kinda fast, but still lacks the extra core, which you will need for multitasking. And, the RAM is kinda skimpy, only 2GB of (probably) slow RAM. Not to mention that a 160GB hard drive isn't that much. Oh, and it states that it runs XP on the top of the specs chart, but Vista in the middle of the chart. If you have Vista, then 2GB of slow RAM isn't that great, but for XP it should do.
Answer:
It depends on what you want. For $500 dollars, it is a very good computer, but I don't advocate getting Vista on it (may be slow) or running any processor intensive programs. Since the site does not specify the video card, I'm going to assume that is built in, probably meaning that there are not going to be many games you can play either. The monitor is a tiny smallish too, but it seems to be good enough, if you're looking for a cheap computer for basic applications.
Answer:
It's an OK price, not great but not really over priced. Note that the processor is single core and that it comes with Windows XP Home, not Vista.
If your computing needs are basic Internet connectivity and Word Processing, it should work fine. But if you’re into gaming , it will be too slow.
What ever computer you buy, do buy a quality surge suppressor.
Answer:
Maybe it's good enough for your average buyer. If you like saving money, that's no deal. It's an AMD Sempron with a small hard-drive and a little LCD. If you're patient and look around the internet, you'll find that configuration (or a similar one) for $300.
Answer:
Yea it's alright. I'm just a huge fan of buying everything piece by piece. You get more bang for your buck that way. If you need helping building it, email me. Past that, the Personal computer looks great.
Answer:
Yeah it's pretty good for the price. Especially since it comes with everything including a monitor.
