Is there a way to show the day in the date display in windows task bar?
Posted in Desktops on July 16th, 2008
You know when you hover your mouse over the time in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and it shows the date, mine will just state '15 July 2008' (for example). Is there a way to make it say 'Tuesday, 15 July 2008'? or something similar?
Answer:
If your taskbar is one layer (only one row of applications shown), then it shows only the time. You can righ-click on the taskbar, and make sure the “Lock the taskbar” is Unchecked. Then put your mouse on the top edge of the task bar so that the pointer changes to a double arrow (up and down). Then drag the taskbar to be two or three layers. Two layers shows time and day. Three layers shows time, day, and date.
