In the bottom left corner of my desktop icons, what does this symbol mean?

It is a small white box with a blue arrow inside it, and the arrow is curving up and to the right. What does this mean, and how can I get it away? It's annoying me.
I have Windows Vista on a Dell XPS1330

It's just a little identification system that shows you the icon is a shortcut to the real program, you can't get it away.

there is a way to remove it. But the program is very tricky, you’ve to know what your doing to get ride of the icon. If you dont know what your doing you can really screw your personal.

usually an unfamiliar icon on the taskbar is a virus or some sort of spyware.

That means that the program is a shortcut to the real one. The real one is located in program files.
