If I use the recovery disk geek squad made for my hp, will that restore the customizing they did on my hp?

I bought a new personal 2 weeks ago at ideal purchase. I tried installing a program I guess, that came with my digital camera. I guess the program for some reason wasn't compatible with my computer(hp windows vista) and it messed up my personal so I had to do a system restore w/ out the disk. Ok so after I did that… it wasn't customized any more! You know how when u buy new personal they’re loaded up with trial porgrams, well I had the geek squad remove those programs (customize it) and now its gone. So now I'm wondering if I use the recovery disk they made, will it restore that too? And how do I use it? I pop it in but nothing happens! And if it doesn't restore that too, then how can I customize it my self?

Answer:
If Geek Squad made a specific recovery disk for you, then they SHOULD have added in any customization. As far as how to use it, it is pretty specific to the Geek Squad representatives that made it, so it would be ideal to ask them.

Also, if Geek Squad told you that their recovery disk should bring it back to the customized state, but it didn't, then i suggest you demand either a refund of your “customization”, or a free customization again and a free replacement recovery disk that will recover it properly in the future.

Yes, the recovery disk will most likely remove GTA:SA, but you should be able to install it again, but depending on how the recovery disk works, you might not be able to recover a saved game file.

Finally, don't forget to always back up all the personal files you can't afford to lose before running a recovery!
