That's a pretty low-end system, it would handle the things you describe but would get slow on fancy myspace pages with animated graphics, background music and stuff.

I concur with the previous poster who recommended getting a computer with at least an E2180 processor, that runs much better.

I would get at least a E 2180 (dual core) cost $20 more.

don't get the celeron!!! get a core 2 duo or quad and a video card with atleast 256 mb of dedicated ddr3 the rest is fine.
